Personal data that we process
Ventilex B.V. processes personal data obtained through the use of its products/services and/or received from the data subject him-/herself. The collection and updating of data is performed manually and/or by automated means. We process the following personal data of our customers, suppliers or other business partners:

- Gender
- Telephone number
- Title
- Function title, department
- Correspondence
Potential customers, newsletter subscribers, data subjects showing active interest in our services and products:
- Name
- Newsletter preferences
- Other personal data, actively provided by you, i.e. phone number, function title, department

Website visitors:
Ventilex B.V. does not collect personal data from website visitors that do not actively provide data. We do use Google Analytics to collect visitor data and analyze traffic on our site. This information helps us understand customer interests and helps us improve our website.

Cookies or comparable techniques that we use
When you visit our site, the pages that you look at and a short text file called a cookie, are downloaded to your computer. A cookie is used to store small amounts of information. This information is collected for traffic analysis only. The cookie does not contain personal details unless you provide them.
The cookies that we use are necessary for the technical functioning of the website and ease of use. They make sure that the website functions properly and remember for instance your preference settings. This we can also use to optimize our website.
Depending on the browser that you use, you can set your preferences to block/refuse cookies, and/or notify you before they are placed. Ventilex B.V. does not sell, give, or trade the statistics they store to any 3rd parties for data-mining or marketing purposes.
The purpose of the processing of personal data
Ventilex B.V. processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- Fulfilling our contractual promises and obligations with business customers, suppliers or business partners
- Taking care of the customer, supplier or other business partner relationship and communications with the customer, supplier or other business partner, including customer feedback and satisfaction surveys
- Direct marketing of our products and services by mail, phone and electronic marketing (including newsletters by email)
- Delivering, maintaining and developing our products and services
- Providing information on changes in our products and services
How long we store personal data
Ventilex B.V. stores your personal data for as long as is necessary considering the purpose of the processing. Personal data about customers is processed and retained during the customer relationship and as long as we deliver services, and if legislation does not require otherwise. Personal data about potential customers is deleted or updated when it is discovered to be outdated or the data subject is deemed unresponsive to the marketing.
Sharing of personal data with third parties
Ventilex B.V. does not sell your data to third parties and only provides personal data when this is necessary for the execution of the contract with you or to meet legal obligations.
We have entered into processor agreements with subcontractors or companies that process your data on our behalf, to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Ventilex B.V. remains responsible for the processing of your data.
Viewing, modification and removal of personal data
You have the right to know what kind of personal data has been collected and processed by Ventilex B.V., and to correct or delete these data. Furthermore, you have the right to withdraw any consent you may have given (in cases where the processing of the data is based on your consent), and to object to the processing of your personal data by Ventilex B.V.. Finally, you have the right to portability of your data, which means that you can file us a request to send your personal data in a computer file to you or another organization named by you.
You can send a request for viewing, correcting, deleting or data transfer of your personal data or a request to withdraw your consent or objection against the processing of your personal data to info@ventilex.com . We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, and at least within four weeks. Ventilex B.V. would also like to point out that you have the option to file a complaint with the national supervisor, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
Security measures
Ventilex B.V. takes the protection of your data seriously and has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access or modification and unwanted disclosure.
Only those of our employees, who on behalf of their working duties are required to process customer data, have access to the systems containing personal data. Each user has a personal username and password to the system. The information is collected into databases that are protected by firewalls, passwords and other technical measures. The databases and the backup copies of them are stored in locked premises and can be accessed only by certain pre-designated persons.

Changes in this privacy policy
This policy may be updated, especially in case of changes in regulations or processing. Should we make amendments to this privacy notice, we will place the amended statement on our website, with an indication of the amendment date. If the amendments are significant, we may also inform you about this by other means, for example by sending an email or placing a bulletin on our homepage. We recommend that you review this privacy notice from time to time to ensure you are aware of any amendments made.
